Drink and Draw IV - Drawing in the Dark & Timed Madness

Though this event was our smallest, it was rather successful and productive. This time around we tried Dark Drawing, in which a simple object was suggested and decided on; we went with a snail. From there we turned the lights out and had to draw the snail in complete darkness for 5 minutes; as much of a struggle as it was when the lights came back on the drawings came out better than we all thought. It was a fun activity; so fun we did once! Other than that we also did the usual randomly generated themes and timed our selves for 15minutes. Following are the results of these activities.

Drink and Draw III - Timed Randomly Generated Illustrations

Tonight few of the Drink and Draw members randomly decided to put together a DnD since we had to cancel last Fridays event. Even though it was small, unplanned and later than usually it ended up being the most successful yet. The format of tonight's jam was "Timed Drawings," which gave everyone 15minutes once the timer was hit to quickly draw a computer generated sentence from this awesome website that Laura had found: http://www.redwhirlpool.com/3CH/3ch_web.php . Usually awesome suggestions come up, but it's hit or miss... sometimes they don't make a lot of sense, and would be a real challenge to draw let alone draw them in a 15minute time period. We drew five "speed themes," each improving as we went along:

1. A fetishistic Monk smells a lady with a hat on an enormous rock.
2. A militarized delivery dude leaps on a man with a hat in a lane.
3. A deformed and infamous monkey hammers a Surgeon in a race plantation.
4. A hairy dinosaur hypnotizes African Warriors in a bar.
5. A gigantic baby fights with an owl in a crypt.

Drink and Draw I - Inglorious Bassterd

During our first session we put together a completely nonsense book about Jewish Sharks standing up against Nazi Sharks. As the night progressed the concept start going its own drunken way. So with out further ado here is Inglorious Bassterds ... our first attempt and collectively drawing something intoxicated.
